AJAZZ Introduces MK87 Prism Edition With 1.33-Inch Prism Display and T

AJAZZ introduced the MK87 Prism Edition, expanding its compact keyboard lineup with a design that combines a prism display, tri-mode connectivity, and an 80% layout. The 1.33-inch prism screen is the main feature of this release, positioned as a new element in the current mechanical keyboard market.

The MK87 Prism Edition uses an 87-key structure with a Gasket pad mounting system intended to reduce internal vibration and strengthen key stability during use. The keyboard is built on a 1.2mm single-key slotted PCB, which supports hot-swappable switches, enabling users to install or replace switches without soldering. AJAZZ integrates 16 million color RGB lighting into the board, with the spacebar designed to include nine LEDs for more balanced illumination. The internal layout includes four layers of filling material along with a horizontally slotted PC positioning plate to maintain a consistent sound profile.

This model ships with AJAZZ’s Lychee V2 linear switches. These switches feature a 2.0±0.4mm actuation point, a total travel distance of 3.6±0.2mm, an actuation force of 42±8gf, and a bottom-out force of 52±8gf. AJAZZ pairs these switches with keycaps using a color palette inspired by the periodic table. When combined with the prism display, the keycap colors create a shifting reflective effect across the surface of the keyboard.

Connectivity is provided through three modes: Bluetooth, 2.4GHz wireless, and wired USB-C. This setup allows the keyboard to operate across multiple devices with quick switching between each connection method. AJAZZ positions the MK87 Prism Edition as a compact peripheral for users who want flexible connectivity along with added visual features.
