AJAZZ Launches AJ179 NearLink Edition Mouse with Tri-Mode Connectivity and Lightweight Design
AJAZZ has officially launched its latest gaming mouse, the AJ179 NearLink Edition, offering tri-mode connectivity and a lightweight, ergonomic design. The new model expands the company’s peripheral lineup with features aimed at users who require flexibility across multiple devices and usage scenarios.
The AJAZZ AJ179 NearLink Edition supports three types of connections: NearLink, Bluetooth, and wired. This makes it suitable for a variety of platforms, including desktop PCs, laptops, and tablets. NearLink is a wireless communication technology designed to provide stable, low-latency connections with reduced power consumption compared to conventional wireless standards.
In terms of appearance, the mouse is available in three color variants: black, white, and rose red. The body features an asymmetrical ergonomic design intended for right-handed users. It supports various grip styles, including claw grip, palm grip, and fingertip grip. With dimensions of 117mm x 65mm x 41mm and a weight of approximately 63 grams, it is particularly suitable for users with small to medium-sized hands.
The AJ179 NearLink Edition is equipped with sensors from PixArt, with two configurations available. Depending on the version, users will either get the PAW3311 or the PAW3395 sensor. The PAW3395 is considered a flagship sensor, offering performance specifications of up to 26,000 DPI, 650 inches per second (IPS) tracking speed, and 50G acceleration. These specifications are intended to provide accurate tracking for gaming and other high-precision tasks.
For the primary buttons, AJAZZ uses Huanuo green and white dot micro switches, which are rated for up to 100 million clicks. These switches are designed to provide consistent actuation over a long lifespan. The scroll wheel is built with a Fengshi Weiqi encoder, which is rated for a durability of 1 million rotations. It is designed to offer tactile feedback with a clear step definition during operation.
The mouse is available in two versions based on battery capacity. The standard version includes a 400mAh battery, while the upgraded version features an 800mAh battery. According to AJAZZ, the upgraded model can last approximately 60 hours when operating in high-speed NearLink mode. In its default NearLink mode, the battery life extends to around 153 hours, and in Bluetooth mode with a 125Hz polling rate, it can run for up to 144 hours.
The AJ179 NearLink Edition aims to provide a balance between performance, comfort, and flexibility, catering to both casual and competitive users who value wireless convenience without compromising on input accuracy.
