ANTGAMER has launched the AGK68, a compact 65% mechanical keyboard designed for competitive gaming. The keyboard integrates hall-effect magnetic switches, dual-chipset architecture, and an 8,000 Hz polling rate, offering features typically aimed at professional and high-performance gaming setups.
Build Quality and Design
ANTGAMER has constructed the AGK68 with a CNC-machined aluminum alloy chassis, paired with carbon-fiber side plates for additional structural support. This design emphasizes durability while maintaining a compact 65% layout.
Performance-Focused Hardware
The AGK68 is powered by a dual-core chipset that manages real-time input with reduced latency. It supports an 8,000 Hz polling rate, allowing the device to register input at 0.08 ms. The system also delivers a full-key 256K scan rate, enabling each keypress to be detected with high precision during rapid sequences.
TTC Green Snake Magneto Switches
The keyboard is equipped with TTC’s Green Snake Magneto switches, which use hall-effect sensing technology. These switches provide adjustable actuation points, dynamic keystrokes, and rapid trigger functions. The rapid trigger mode allows actuation and reset at near-micron precision, giving users control over keystroke sensitivity. This configuration is particularly suited for games that require quick directional changes or repeated key inputs.
Lighting and Keycaps
The AGK68 incorporates per-key RGB illumination with a front-facing neon light bar that enhances the keyboard’s visual presentation. PBT dye-sublimation keycaps in OEM profile are included, featuring an L-shaped transparent window that disperses lighting evenly across the keys.
Software and Customization
Users can configure actuation depth, assign custom functions, and manage lighting effects through ANTGAMER’s web-based driver. Advanced options such as Mod Tap (MT) and Toggle (TGL) modes are also available, giving players flexibility in creating key profiles suited to different genres.
