ATK Introduces Duckbill Ultra Wireless Gaming Mouse with 8,000Hz Polling and 46g Lightweight Design
ATK has officially released its new wireless gaming mouse, the Duckbill Ultra, designed to provide a balance between lightweight construction and advanced performance features. The Duckbill Ultra follows a compact symmetrical layout, with design elements such as a low front button height, sculpted left and right click buttons, and a raised rear hump that supports palm grip users. Additional side buttons are included, maintaining utility while keeping the design compact and functional.
The Duckbill Ultra is based on ATK’s newly engineered mold, specifically created for small and medium-sized hand grips. This approach ensures that the mouse caters to a wide range of users who prefer compact and symmetrical designs. The exterior design emphasizes comfort and ergonomics, while the internal hardware delivers performance suited for both competitive and general gaming.
Inside, the Duckbill Ultra integrates Nordic’s 54H20 flagship main control chip along with the PAW3950Ultra sensor, which ATK describes as its most advanced sensor pairing to date. The company has also equipped the mouse with its third-generation Shark wireless transmission system. This combination results in extremely low input latency, with key delay measured at just 0.284 milliseconds. Such performance aims to give gamers faster response times during high-intensity gameplay.
The mouse runs ATK’s MAX competitive firmware, which brings advanced optimizations to the hardware. It supports a static scan frame rate of at least 20,000 FPS and enables both wired and wireless polling rates of up to 8,000Hz.
