CHERRY Unveils KW300 MX Dual-Mode Wireless Mechanical Keyboard with Enhanced Features
CHERRY has introduced the KW300 MX, a versatile dual-mode wireless mechanical keyboard that embodies a significant shift in the brand’s design direction. With a 75% layout, this compact keyboard balances functionality and size, making it a promising option for both professional and casual users. A standout feature in this model is the addition of a knob switch, designed for convenient control over volume and lighting.
The KW300 MX is available in two color schemes, each paired with CHERRY's signature PBT two-color injection-molded keycaps. These keycaps are known for durability, resisting wear over time, and providing a premium typing feel. Underneath the keycaps, the keyboard is equipped with CHERRY’s MX2A switches, which support full-key hot-swapping. This feature allows users to customize the keyboard by easily replacing switches without the need for soldering, catering to personal preferences in typing feel and sound.
CHERRY has taken an innovative approach to the internal structure of the KW300 MX. Inside, a multi-layered design includes materials such as a Poron sandwich layer, IXPE switch pad, PET acoustic pad, switch housing cotton, and sound-absorbing bottom cotton. This arrangement reduces unwanted noise and enhances the acoustic feedback of each keystroke, delivering a quieter and more refined typing experience. The keyboard also offers a monochrome backlight with 10 levels of adjustable brightness, allowing users to tailor the illumination to suit various environments.
In terms of connectivity, the KW300 MX offers both Bluetooth and wired dual-mode connections, enhancing its versatility across different devices. This dual-mode setup allows users to easily switch between devices without interruptions. CHERRY has designed the keyboard for long-lasting performance, with a single charge supporting up to 30 days of usage, depending on the backlight settings and usage conditions.
