MCHOSE Launches K87S Tri-Mode Mechanical Keyboard with Dual 8KHz Polling and 2,500-Hour Battery Life
MCHOSE has officially introduced the K87S, a new tri-mode mechanical keyboard designed for performance-focused users. The K87S is the first model to feature MCHOSE’s fully in-house developed “Star Dou” platform, supporting dual 8KHz polling rates for both wired and wireless modes. This configuration is aimed at delivering stable and responsive input across different connection types.
The K87S features a 10,000mAh battery capable of delivering up to 2,500 hours of use when backlighting is turned off. It also supports 10W charging for quicker power recovery.
From a structural perspective, the K87S uses a gasket-mounted design combined with five layers of shock-absorbing material. This construction is intended to improve keystroke stability and reduce vibration. Two versions of the keyboard will be available: the high-end variant features Huannuo Ice Blue switches, while the other is equipped with TTC Fast Gold V3 switches. Both versions are paired with double-shot PBT keycaps for enhanced durability and resistance to wear.
The keyboard integrates MCHOSE’s StarTech and TOPSEED 2.0 wireless technologies, enabling intelligent dynamic power management and full-band interference suppression. The reported latency is as low as 0.125ms. In addition to standard input functions, the K87S offers advanced key features such as SOCD, MT, TGL, and CB support, which can be beneficial for competitive gaming and specialized workflows.
For lighting and aesthetics, the K87S includes a south-facing ARGB backlight system capable of displaying 16 million colors. Above the arrow keys, a multifunctional volume knob and a breathing light indicator are positioned, with the latter showing battery status. The lighting system supports Aura synchronization, music rhythm effects, and GIF animations, allowing for flexible customization.
With a combination of tri-mode connectivity, low-latency performance, extended battery life, and structural refinements, the MCHOSE K87S positions itself as a versatile option for users seeking a high-performance mechanical keyboard.
