Rapoo Introduces VT1 2nd-Gen Wireless Gaming Mouse with NORDIC 54 Chip and Lightweight Design
Rapoo has launched its VT1 2nd-Gen wireless gaming mouse series, designed for small and medium-sized hands. The new lineup focuses on performance, comfort, and battery efficiency, featuring the latest NORDIC 54 wireless chip and a redesigned internal structure to support advanced gaming needs.

The VT1 2nd-Gen series is built around Rapoo’s updated “Geek Core 2.0” platform, which prioritizes ergonomic improvements and internal layout optimization. With a weight of approximately 49 grams, the mouse is designed to reduce hand fatigue during long gaming sessions while maintaining structural integrity. The design updates include a lower back curvature for improved palm support, a refined side arc for better finger placement, and optimized button positioning for quicker response.

At the core of the performance upgrade is the NORDIC 54 chip. This cross-generation wireless solution offers double the main frequency and data transmission bandwidth compared to the previous NORDIC 52 chip. Combined with Rapoo’s V+ Wireless 2.0 algorithm, the system delivers lower latency and improved stability. The enhancements allow the mouse to achieve polling rates up to 8K, ensuring precise tracking for high-speed competitive gaming.

Battery performance has also been improved. The VT1 2nd-Gen series uses an 800mAh lithium battery paired with wireless charging support. At a 1K polling rate, the mouse offers up to 500 hours of use, while even at an 8K rate it can last for around 100 hours. Rapoo includes a contact charging base and a braided high-speed USB cable for flexible recharging options.

The series comes in two main versions: the Standard Edition and the MAX Edition. The Standard model features an Original Phase 3398 sensor, Omron mechanical micro-switches rated for 100 million clicks, and Kaihua encoders tested for 2 million rotations. The MAX Edition includes a more advanced sensor, a DPI range up to 45,000 in fine 10-unit increments, and switches rated for 120 million clicks. Both models support adjustable lift-off distance across 11 levels, along with native dual 8K polling and onboard plus cloud profile storage for cross-device use on Windows, macOS, and web platforms.

Rapoo has also paid attention to accessory quality. The package includes a nano 8K receiver with RGB status indicators, Teflon-coated foot pads for smooth glide, and a gold-plated high-speed data cable. Color options include Bright Moon White, Starry Sky Black, and a vivid Flame Shadow Orange exclusive to the MAX version.
This release reflects Rapoo’s continued focus on hardware and software integration, aiming to deliver a reliable wireless gaming solution for players who demand both precision and endurance.
