Razer Introduces DeathAdder V4 Pro With Next-Generation Features for Competitive Gaming

Razer has announced the DeathAdder V4 Pro, the latest model in its popular DeathAdder series. With more than 20 million units sold worldwide since its introduction, the DeathAdder has become one of the most recognized gaming mice in esports and casual gaming alike. The new version builds on this reputation with significant upgrades aimed at professional players and enthusiasts.

The DeathAdder V4 Pro is the first Razer mouse to feature HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2 technology. This update delivers a more stable wireless connection, improved power efficiency, and lower latency compared to the previous generation. Razer claims the new system is 63% more power efficient and reduces latency by 37%. The mouse supports polling rates of up to 8000 Hz when used in both wired and wireless modes. Battery life is rated at up to 150 hours at 1000 Hz polling, ensuring consistent performance for long gaming sessions.

The Optical Scroll Wheel replaces the traditional mechanical design, bringing enhanced durability and more precise control. It’s built to last three times longer than standard mechanical scroll wheels. Alongside this, the mouse features Razer’s Optical Mouse Switches Gen-4, rated for 100 million clicks and refined to deliver a sharper, more responsive click feel.

The DeathAdder V4 Pro features the Focus Pro 45K Optical Sensor Gen-2, offering up to 45,000 DPI, 900 inches per second tracking, and 85 G acceleration. It delivers 99.8% resolution accuracy for consistent performance on various surfaces. It also includes Dynamic Sensitivity, Mouse Rotation, and Sensitivity Matcher, giving players more control over their settings.

Weighing 56 grams in black and 57 grams in white, the DeathAdder V4 Pro is designed for ultra-lightweight performance. Its ergonomic shape has been refined to improve comfort during extended use. Larger PTFE feet allow smoother movement, while split side buttons are intended to reduce accidental clicks. A smooth-touch finish improves grip and gives the mouse a premium feel.

Razer has also incorporated more sustainable materials into the design. Over 67% of the plastic used in the DeathAdder V4 Pro comes from bio-based or post-consumer recycled sources. The internal structure has been reinforced to maintain durability without increasing weight.

Development of the mouse included input from professional players such as Counter-Strike star Nikola “NiKo” Kovač. NiKo provided feedback during testing and visited Razer’s Singapore development center to help fine-tune the design.

“The DeathAdder V4 Pro gives me the control I need in competitive matches,” said NiKo. “I’ve been using prototypes since earlier this year and shared feedback to adjust its handling and performance for professional play.”

The Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro is now available through Razer’s online store and authorized retailers worldwide.
