VGN Introduces Dragonfly F2 Pro Max and F2 Ultra+ Gaming Mice With High-Speed 8K Polling Rate

VGN has expanded its gaming accessory lineup with the launch of the Dragonfly F2 Pro Max and Dragonfly F2 Ultra+. Both models are built with modern components aimed at players who want faster response times, reliable wireless performance, and sensors capable of handling competitive gaming requirements.

Dragonfly F2 Pro Max Overview

The Dragonfly F2 Pro Max arrives with a surface coating designed to give a smooth, low-resistance feel, helping users maintain consistent control during extended sessions. VGN uses a TTC dustproof gold wheel to improve durability, and the mouse glides on Teflon feet for steady movement across mousepads and desk surfaces.

Internally, the F2 Pro Max is powered by the PAW3395 sensor and the Cx52860 main control chip. Together, these components offer accurate tracking and stable performance even at higher speeds. The mouse supports wired, 2.4 GHz, and Bluetooth connections, giving users flexibility across different platforms. Both wired and wireless modes support 8K polling, a feature that reduces input delay for players who need quicker feedback.

The switch configuration includes Huano micro-switches rated for 100 million clicks. These switches are designed for consistent actuation and long-term reliability. The DPI range spans from 50 to 26,000, allowing users to fine-tune sensitivity for tasks ranging from everyday use to high-precision gaming. An 800 mAh built-in battery powers the device, offering extended runtime between charges.

Dragonfly F2 Ultra+ Overview

The Dragonfly F2 Ultra+ includes several upgrades aimed at users who want an even more advanced configuration. The sensor has been updated to the PAW3950, which offers improved tracking accuracy. The mouse runs on the Nordic 52840 main control chip, improving wireless performance and stability.

Switch options include Omron 100 million click optical micro-switches or custom-tuned Kailh optical micro-switches rated for up to 160 million clicks. These switches use optical actuation, which can help reduce wear and ensure consistent input over long periods of use. The DPI range extends from 50 to 30,000, giving users more control over sensitivity adjustments.

The F2 Ultra+ includes a 500 mAh battery but compensates with fast-charging support, allowing the mouse to return to use quickly after short charging sessions. Like the Pro Max, it also offers tri-mode connectivity, making it suitable for various devices.

With both models, VGN aims to strengthen its position in the competitive gaming mouse market. The combination of high-resolution sensors, 8K polling, wireless flexibility, and long-life switches places the new Dragonfly F2 series among the brand’s most capable releases to date. The company is expected to share regional availability and pricing details soon.
