Akko Launches 5075 V3 HE and 5087 V3 H3 Magnetic Switch Keyboards

Akko has added two new wired keyboards to its lineup with the launch of the 5075 V3 HE and the 5087 V3 H3. Both models arrived last night as part of the company’s growing focus on magnetic switch technology, aiming to provide faster input response and improved precision for gaming and general use. The keyboards maintain a single-mode wired approach, keeping latency low and consistency high for users who prefer a direct connection.

The 5075 V3 HE features a 75% layout that includes all primary keys while saving desk space, while the 5087 V3 H3 comes in an 80% layout that offers a familiar arrangement for traditional users. Although the layouts differ, both keyboards share the same internal hardware platform. Akko has equipped them with Starlight magnetic switches, delivering an 8kHz polling rate paired with a 32kHz scan rate and a 256kHz scan sampling rate. The Rapid Trigger precision of 0.005mm ensures the keyboards register repeated key presses quickly, supporting tasks that require rapid actuation changes.

Akko continues its modular approach with both models. Users can replace the keycaps, switches, and cases, giving flexibility for future upgrades or repairs. The keyboards use an engineering plastic body reinforced with internal gasket pads. This structure helps manage keystroke impact and reduces unwanted noise during use. An aluminum alloy mounting plate is included for added stability. Both models also feature bottom-mounted ARGB lighting, offering a soft illumination effect without altering the functional layout of the keyboard.

The magnetic switches used in these keyboards follow a linear design with a total travel distance of 3.50±0.10mm. They begin actuating at 35gf and bottom out at 55gf, which supports a controlled and predictable key feel suitable for gaming and typing. The switches work with the magnetic sensing system to detect small movement changes, allowing for precise key activation and reset control.

Keycaps on the 5075 V3 HE and 5087 V3 H3 are made from PBT and manufactured through double-shot injection molding, paired with PC high-definition silkscreen printing for clear legends and long-term durability. This combination ensures the keycaps resist wear and maintain their texture over extended use.

With these updates, Akko expands its catalog of magnetic switch keyboards, offering two form-factor choices for users who want flexibility, durability, and precise key performance. The 5075 V3 HE and 5087 V3 H3 strengthen Akko’s position in the performance keyboard segment, giving both new and existing users more options in the wired magnetic switch category.
