ATK Introduces F1 V2 Wireless Gaming Mouse Series with Dual 8kHz Polling Rate Support

ATK has announced the launch of its new F1 V2 series wireless gaming mouse this month. The new lineup includes three models—F1 V2 Ultra Max, F1 V2 Ultimate, and F1 V2 Extreme—all designed around the same goal of providing precise tracking, low-latency input, and ergonomic comfort for a wide range of players.

The F1 V2 series adopts a quasi-symmetrical grip design aimed at users with small to medium-sized hands. This shape helps maintain balanced control, whether the player uses a claw, fingertip, or hybrid grip style. The shell’s structure emphasizes comfort during extended sessions, while its lightweight body allows for smoother hand movement across different gaming surfaces.

Each model in the F1 V2 lineup is equipped with the Nordic 54 series controller chip, built on ATK’s in-house developed platform. The mouse supports both USB-C wired and 2.4GHz wireless modes, allowing players to switch between the two seamlessly. A major highlight is the dual 8kHz polling rate support, which reduces latency and ensures more responsive cursor movement compared to standard 1kHz models. This feature benefits competitive gaming, where precise motion tracking can influence performance.

ATK also uses a new nano-coating across the F1 V2 series. The surface treatment offers better grip and protects the body from dust and sweat buildup during long hours of play. The scroll wheel is paired with a TTC gold wheel encoder, a component known for its consistency and durability. It provides tactile feedback and stable rotation, ensuring accurate weapon switching or scrolling actions in fast-paced titles.

While the three models share a common foundation, each version targets a different balance of performance and weight. The F1 V2 Extreme model features the most aggressive tuning, achieving a key delay of 0.243 milliseconds and an average weight of 38 grams. This makes it suitable for players who prioritize speed and rapid response. The F1 V2 Ultra Max and F1 V2 Ultimate versions maintain similar polling and tracking performance but with slightly varied shell materials and internal configurations to balance comfort and endurance.

The inclusion of both wired and wireless connectivity ensures flexibility for users who prefer different setups. The 2.4GHz wireless mode focuses on low-latency transmission, while the wired mode provides continuous operation without interruptions during charging.

With the release of the F1 V2 series, ATK continues to expand its range of competitive gaming peripherals. The combination of dual 8kHz polling rate support, Nordic-based processing hardware, and ergonomic design positions the F1 V2 line as a practical choice for gamers seeking reliable performance with minimal input delay.
