Dareu A68 Aluminum Magnetic Keyboard Launches with IP68 Waterproof Design and 8kHz Polling
Dareu has unveiled the A68, a new aluminum-cased magnetic keyboard featuring an IP68-rated waterproof design. The keyboard is designed to resist liquid spills, including coffee and cola, and can be rinsed with water for cleaning, though the connectors should remain dry. The internal PCB is coated with nano-waterproof technology, improving resistance to moisture, dust, and debris, making it suitable for everyday use as well as gaming setups.
The A68 adopts a compact 68-key layout with a racing and mecha-inspired design. Its black, red, and silver color scheme is complemented by a metal rear grille and decorative inscriptions, giving the keyboard a modern industrial look. The manufacturer emphasizes that the sealed inner casing protects the switches and internal components from liquid damage and small particles such as cigarette ash. This approach focuses on durability while maintaining a visually appealing profile.
Performance-wise, the keyboard is equipped with custom ice-blade magnetic switches featuring 35gf actuation force and 3.5mm total key travel. These switches support 0.01mm rapid trigger (RT) accuracy, offering precise input for gaming or productivity tasks. The A68 also delivers an 8,000Hz polling rate with a 0.01ms latency, enabling near-instantaneous response times. Measuring 318 x 107 x 39mm, the compact form factor allows users to maintain desk space while benefiting from high-performance features.
