Keychron Launches K3 Max All-Wood Edition Mechanical Keyboard at $119.99
Keychron has unveiled the K3 Max All-Wood Edition, a new addition to its low-profile mechanical keyboard lineup. Priced at $119.99, the model brings a wooden design and refined build while maintaining the compact and slim profile of the standard K3 Max.
The All-Wood Edition features a walnut wood case, offering a distinct look compared to the metal and plastic chassis of the regular K3 Max. It comes equipped with Keychron Milk POM low-profile switches, which are compatible with Gateron KS-33 hot-swappable sockets. This allows users to replace the switches later with their preferred type. Keycaps follow Keychron’s LSA profile and are made from double-shot PBT, preserving durability and maintaining a familiar typing height.
Despite its wooden construction, the K3 Max All-Wood Edition retains a low-profile form. The front height measures 10.7 mm, and the maximum height with keycaps is approximately 20.2 mm. This makes it slightly taller than the standard K3 Max by less than 3 mm, while staying considerably slimmer than previous wooden models like the K2 HE All-Wood Special Edition.
The keyboard supports dual-mode wireless connectivity via 2.4GHz and Bluetooth 5.2, making it suitable for multiple devices. Its built-in 1550mAh battery is rated for up to 86 hours of use on a full charge, depending on usage patterns.
The K3 Max All-Wood Edition targets users who prefer a compact and low-profile keyboard with a premium wooden finish. With its combination of design, low-profile switches, and wireless flexibility, it continues Keychron’s focus on versatile mechanical keyboards that blend aesthetics with performance.
