Logitech Releases G502 X Series Of Gaming Mice: G502 X, G502 X Lightspeed, G502 X Plus

In the world of gaming peripherals, the Logitech G502 series of gaming mice have an iconic following of its own. It’s one of the most famous gaming mice that come with top-quality features and at the same time doesn’t break the bank. Today, Logitech has updated the G502 with an entirely new series of gaming mice, introducing the G502 X, G502 X Lightspeed, and G502 X Plus. It’s not only an update to the G502 but also a complete revision of the mouse with an entirely new series. The G502 X comes with a carefully redesigned G502 exterior and is powered by the latest Lightforce hybrid optical mechanical switch.

The G502 X Lightspeed brings wireless connectivity to the series. It has a detachable Type-C cable for charging purposes. It also has a rugged thin-walled frame for reduced weight. So, one can expect Lightspeed to have better acceleration too. The G502 X Plus is the top-most variant of the series. It’s wireless like the Lightspeed, but also has LIGHTSYNC RGB function on its frame. Users can customize the RGB effects on the mouse easily using the Logitech driver software. The wireless G502 X Lightspeed and G502 X Plus have a battery life of up to 140 hours on a single charge.

Logitech has equipped the entire G502 X series with its latest LIGHTFORCE Hybrid Optical Mechanical Switches for incredible fast clicks and reliable durability. LIGHTFORCE is a revolutionary microswitch technology that combines the benefits of optical switches like the fast trigger, and high durability with a mechanical feel that gamers absolutely adore. The G502 X also introduced a detachable DPI logger button to accommodate a variety of hand shapes and different grip styles. The redesigned rollers offer great stability and smooth operation. The series retains the G5012’s Classic high-speed infinite scrolling and precision scale models.

Logitech has equipped the G502 X series with the HERO 25K high-precision gaming sensor that provides excellent accuracy and zero smoothing, filtering, or acceleration at the sub-micron level. All three mice from the G502 X series are made available in two color options, Black and White.
