RAWM Launches ER21PRO Gaming Mouse: Lightweight Ergonomics with High-End Performance
RAWM has officially announced the launch of its new ER21PRO gaming mouse, designed specifically for right-handed users looking for a high-performance, ultra-lightweight solution. Available now through Mechkeys, the ER21PRO positions itself as the flagship model in RAWM’s lineup, targeting competitive gamers and esports professionals.
Weighing just 49 grams (±2g), the ER21PRO is built for speed and precision. It features an ergonomic design tailored for medium-to-large hands, with a naturally curved back and smooth contours aimed at improving palm support and lateral movement during extended gaming sessions.
At the core of the ER21PRO is the PAW3950 sensor, which offers up to 30,000 DPI, 750 IPS tracking speed, and 50G acceleration. The sensor is paired with RAWM’s proprietary Speed Wireless technology, promising high-speed data transmission with polling rates ranging from 125Hz to 8000Hz. Achieving an 8000Hz polling rate requires the included 8K receiver.
The main controller used in the ER21PRO is the Nordic 52840, which ensures stable performance and efficient power management. According to RAWM, battery life is rated at 85 hours at 1000Hz and approximately 20 hours at 8000Hz, using a 300mAh battery.
The RAESHA optical micro-switches in the left and right buttons deliver an ultra-fast 0.1ms response time, effectively addressing issues like unintended double-clicks. A TTC Gold component enhances the scroll wheel's precision and feel, and PTFE white footpads on the base ensure smooth, low-friction movement across surfaces.
Connectivity options include both wired and 2.4GHz wireless modes. The mouse is compatible with Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms via Windows drivers or a web-based interface. RAWM has also developed its own firmware, which includes a performance mode capable of reaching over 20,000 frames per second. This mode is aimed at users who need consistent, high-speed responsiveness.
Compared to the standard ER21 model, the ER21PRO includes several upgrades, including a lighter weight, more advanced sensor, and improved micro-switches. The standard ER21 weighs 54 grams (±2g) and comes with the PAW3595 sensor and Huano switches.
