Waizowl Launches Cloud Ultra Nebula Edition Gaming Mouse with UWB Wireless Connectivity
Waizowl has officially unveiled the Cloud Ultra Nebula Edition gaming mouse, a new model that adopts ultra-wideband (UWB) wireless connectivity instead of traditional Bluetooth or 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. The announcement comes at a time when UWB is beginning to attract attention in the gaming peripherals market, with manufacturers exploring alternatives to reduce interference and improve efficiency in competitive play.

From a design perspective, the mouse features a flat-back, symmetrical ergonomic shape tailored for medium to large hands. The build supports a range of grip styles, providing flexibility for different player preferences. Weighing just 60 ± 2 grams, it is coated with the company’s “Light Feather III” finish, which is designed to provide durability while maintaining a smooth texture during extended sessions.

The Cloud Ultra Nebula Edition is Waizowl’s first mouse to fully integrate SPARK Microsystems’ UWB platform as its exclusive wireless solution. This sets it apart from most esports mice currently available, which typically rely on dual wireless options. Shortly after ELECOM announced its VM800 with similar technology, Waizowl introduced its own approach with the Cloud Ultra Nebula Edition, signaling a broader industry movement toward UWB adoption.

In terms of hardware, Waizowl equips the Cloud Ultra Nebula Edition with Surpass master control, a PixArt PAW3950 HAWKEYE custom optical sensor, third-generation optical micro switches, and a TTC silver wheel encoder. These components are designed to deliver responsive input and precision tracking, which are critical in competitive gaming.

The mouse supports both wired and wireless use. For wired operation, it uses a USB-C magnetic suction connection. In wireless mode, it takes full advantage of the UWB link, offering an 8 kHz polling rate and a 20,000 fps scanning rate. The technology operates in the 3.1–10.6 GHz frequency range with a bandwidth of up to 500 MHz, improving signal stability and reducing interference. Additionally, power management is optimized through PWM scheduling, which helps extend battery performance without compromising responsiveness.
With these specifications, Waizowl positions the Cloud Ultra Nebula Edition as a performance-focused tool for competitive gaming, where reduced latency and stable connections play a significant role.
The Cloud Ultra Nebula Edition is available for purchase through Waizowl’s official website at a listed price of $110.99.
