YUNZII Launches QL75 Mechanical Keyboard with Typewriter-Inspired Design
YUNZII has introduced the QL75, a mechanical keyboard that brings together a vintage typewriter-style appearance with features suited for everyday use. The keyboard uses a compact 75% layout, offering 84 keys, and comes with toggle switches and rotary knobs for added control.
The QL75 measures 328.1 x 214.5 x 64.1 mm and weighs 1461.5 grams. It features a top-mounted structure combined with a gasket system, which helps reduce keystroke noise and improve typing feel. This setup provides a firmer key response and adds to the overall stability of the board.
Users can choose between two switch types: the YUNZII Onyx Tactile Switch or the YUNZII Cocoa Cream V2 Linear Switch. The Onyx switch is designed for those who prefer tactile feedback, while the Cocoa Cream V2 offers a smoother press with an earlier bottom-out. The keyboard supports hot-swapping for all keys and is compatible with both 3-pin and 5-pin switches, making it easier to swap out switches without any soldering.
The keycaps follow a round, typewriter-style design and are made from ABS plastic. They have a matte chrome finish with electroplating and laser-engraved legends. Lighting is handled by north-facing RGB LEDs, and users can choose from several backlight effects.
For customization, the YUNZII QL75 works with QMK and VIA, allowing users to adjust key functions, create macros, and manage lighting settings. The keyboard also includes full N-key rollover, meaning it can register all keypresses at once without conflict.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4 GHz wireless, and USB Type-C wired mode. When connected via cable, the polling rate reaches up to 1000 Hz for faster response. A built-in 4000 mAh battery powers the wireless modes, providing extended use between charges.
One additional feature is the integrated stand located at the top of the keyboard, which can hold a smartphone or tablet. This makes it easier for users to keep a second device in view while working or typing.
The QL75 is available in two colors, green and pink, and is priced at $109.99. It supports Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS systems. The keyboard is available now through YUNZII’s store and selected retailers.
