Dareu Introduces THUNDER 68 Dual-Mode Gaming Keyboard with Inductive Switches
Dareu has expanded its lineup of gaming peripherals with the launch of the THUNDER 68, a dual-mode gaming keyboard designed for both wired and wireless operation. The company highlights this model as the first in the internet cafe sector to use dual-mode inductive switches, combining durability, precision, and customizable features in a compact layout.
The THUNDER 68 is built around inductor-based switches with an expected lifespan of up to 100 million keystrokes. Each key has an initial actuation force of 30±10gf and a total travel distance of 3.5±0.2mm. Users can adjust key travel within a range of 0.01mm to 3.5mm, allowing for precise input based on personal preference. Keycaps are made of PC material with a frosted finish and support full backlighting, enhancing visibility in different lighting conditions.

The keyboard’s construction combines an aluminum alloy shell with an FR4 material positioning plate and a Gasket structure inside. To reduce noise and improve typing comfort, Dareu has included four layers of dampening materials: Poron cotton, switch pads, PET sound-enhancing pads, and high-density foam. These features are complemented by 18 selectable lighting effect modes that allow users to create different visual experiences.

In wired mode, the THUNDER 68 supports an 8kHz polling rate and achieves a low button latency of 0.125ms. Its wireless 2.4GHz mode offers a 1kHz polling rate and is supported by a built-in 8000mAh battery, providing long-lasting use without frequent recharging. This combination of dual-mode operation and high polling rates makes the keyboard suitable for both casual gamers and competitive settings.

The compact 68-key layout also makes it suitable for setups with limited space, while the inclusion of a customizable 3D backlight box adds a visual highlight to the desk environment. Dareu has positioned the THUNDER 68 as a solution for gamers seeking both performance and durability, while also targeting internet cafes looking for keyboards capable of handling extended periods of heavy use.
With its combination of adjustable key travel, durable inductive switches, and low-latency operation, the THUNDER 68 aims to provide a responsive and comfortable typing experience for a variety of users. The keyboard is now available for purchase through select retail channels and online stores.
