Keychron Introduces Q0 HE Numeric Keypad With Magnetic Switch Technology at $139.99

Keychron has officially announced the Q0 HE numeric keypad, expanding its Q HE lineup with its first standalone numpad based on magnetic switch technology. The new Q0 HE is priced at $139.99 and is aimed at users who want the same input control found in magnetic keyboards in a compact numeric form factor.

The Q0 HE features an aluminum alloy case, consistent with other products in the Q-series. It ships with Gateron dual-rail magnetic switches using TMR technology, paired with OSA-profile double-shot PBT keycaps. This combination is designed to offer durability along with a familiar typing feel for users already invested in Keychron’s ecosystem.

Keychron highlights advanced input customization as a key focus of the Q0 HE. The keypad supports adjustable actuation points, allowing users to fine-tune how far a key needs to be pressed to register. Additional functions include SOCD support, single-key multi-operation, and Rapid Trigger, features commonly associated with magnetic switch designs and competitive input scenarios.

The internal structure uses a double gasket mounting system, combined with four layers of sound-absorbing material. An aluminum alloy positioning plate is used to maintain stability while reducing resonance. The PCB is hot-swappable and supports south-facing RGB backlighting, improving compatibility with third-party keycaps.

For connectivity, the Q0 HE offers tri-mode operation. Users can connect via USB-C or use the 2.4GHz wireless mode, with both options supporting a 1000Hz polling rate. Bluetooth support is also included for broader device compatibility. Power is supplied by a built-in 1800mAh battery, which Keychron rates for up to 56 hours of use on a single charge.
