VGN Launches Neon 68 Hyper Racing Keyboards with 65% Layout and Magnetic Switches

VGN has announced the launch of its Neon 68 Hyper Racing series, expanding its lineup of performance-focused gaming keyboards. The new series is built around a compact 65% layout and uses magnetic switch technology, targeting users who prefer fast input response in a smaller form factor.

The Neon 68 Hyper Racing lineup includes two design variants: Standard and “+”. While both models share the same internal hardware, the differences are mainly related to exterior design elements. Each version adopts a Gasket mounting structure, which helps reduce vibration and provides a more even typing experience. The keyboard also features a PCB with lower-positioned LEDs, allowing lighting effects to appear more diffused across the key area.

The series features a neon ambient light strip running along the keyboard body. VGN describes the lighting style as being inspired by a “water-cooled design language.” The lighting system also supports music-based rhythm effects, allowing the lights to respond dynamically to audio playback.

In terms of performance, the Neon 68 Hyper Racing keyboards support an 8kHz polling rate and single-mode connectivity, focusing on stable and low-latency operation. The magnetic switches enable Rapid Trigger functionality with a precision level of up to 0.01mm, allowing key actuation and reset points to be adjusted for faster input registration.

With its compact layout, magnetic switch design, and lighting-focused aesthetics, the VGN Neon 68 Hyper Racing series is positioned as a performance-oriented option for competitive gaming setups.
