MCHOSE Launches Ace 68 Turbo: World’s First 16kHz Polling Rate Keyboard
MCHOSE has unveiled the Ace 68 Turbo keyboard, marking a new step in the development of gaming peripherals. The company claims it to be the first wired keyboard capable of reaching a 16kHz polling rate, enabled by its Mount Tai Magnetic switch GT version. This release reflects MCHOSE’s effort to push input technology forward by focusing on speed, stability, and precision for competitive gaming use.

Polling rate determines how often a peripheral sends input data to the connected system. Higher polling rates can reduce the time gap between pressing a key and the system registering the command, resulting in smoother and faster response times. While most high-end gaming peripherals currently support up to an 8kHz rate through either USB or wireless 2.4GHz connections, MCHOSE’s 16kHz implementation effectively doubles the refresh frequency over a wired connection.
The MCHOSE Ace 68 Turbo features a compact 68-key layout built around an aluminum grille frame. The chassis combines an aluminum alloy positioning plate and a five-layer internal filling structure designed to improve sound dampening and key stability. At the back, an ARGB rhythmic light box operates at a 256kHz scan rate, adding synchronized illumination effects across the keyboard. Bottom backlighting further enhances visibility while maintaining an organized layout for minimal desk space use.

The Mount Tai Magnetic Switch GT version uses a dual-core chip combined with a four-layer PCB, delivering precise control through its Rapid Trigger system with 0.001mm accuracy and ultra-low 0.06ms latency. It also comes with a data cable that supports a 16kHz polling rate, ensuring consistent and reliable input performance even during long hours of use.
Alongside the GT version, MCHOSE also released a Polaris Magnetic switch variant. This model operates at an 8kHz polling rate and uses a dual-layer PCB, achieving a slightly higher latency of 0.08ms. Although positioned as a lower-tier model, it retains similar design elements and structural quality.

The Ace 68 Turbo’s design emphasizes durability and precision without excessive weight. Its combination of magnetic switches, layered acoustic design, and dense aluminum frame offers both tactile consistency and longevity. MCHOSE aims this product at gamers, competitive players, and professionals who value high-speed response and minimal input delay.
With an introductory price starting at $79, the MCHOSE Ace 68 Turbo presents a mix of refined construction and advanced polling performance. The keyboard’s high polling frequency and magnetic switch technology signal an industry move toward faster, more accurate wired input devices, setting a new performance reference in the mechanical keyboard segment.
