ATK Introduces the A9 Air Master Edition Mouse With 47g Build and 8K Wireless Polling
ATK has officially revealed the complete technical details for its new A9 Air Master Edition mouse, expanding the A9 family with a model focused on reducing weight while improving wireless performance. The company is presenting this version as a refined option for users who prefer a compact, low-weight mouse with high-speed tracking and long battery life.
The A9 Air Master Edition follows the same physical design as the A9 Ultra and A9 Ultimate, measuring 125 × 63.5 × 40 mm. The shape remains geared toward users with larger hands or those who prefer a fuller grip profile. Maintaining identical dimensions across the lineup allows existing A9 users to switch models without needing to adjust to a new form factor.

This edition introduces a lightweight construction that sets the foundation for its overall design. ATK lists the mouse at 47 ±3 g, placing it below many competing wireless models in the same category. To maintain durability while keeping the mass low, the shell is treated with a new nano-coating. This layer helps the exterior resist wear, provides a more secure grip during extended use, and preserves the surface texture even after long hours of gaming.
Internally, the A9 Air Master Edition is built on the Shark MAX mouse solution and includes Nordic’s updated 54L15 wireless chip. This pairing supports higher data throughput and low-latency transmission, which are essential for stable high-polling-rate performance. The sensor chosen for this model is the PAW3950 Ultra flagship unit, which brings improved tracking precision. According to the specification sheet, the button latency can reach as low as 0.181 ms, positioning the mouse among the faster wireless options currently on the market.
The mouse also supports bidirectional 8-track transmission, helping maintain consistent wireless communication in high-interference environments. One of the most notable inclusions is the ability to achieve an 8K polling rate in both wired and wireless modes. To enable this, ATK includes the new GEM 8K receiver, which is designed specifically for high-speed polling applications.

Additional hardware features include ATK optical microswitches, a TTC gold wheel scroll wheel, and multiple sets of mouse feet to allow users to choose the glide material they prefer. Power is supplied by a 300 mAh battery, and ATK lists a battery life of up to 300 hours depending on the selected mode and usage pattern.
The A9 Air Master Edition will be offered in four color options: black, white, midnight white, and phantom orange. With its compact design, reduced weight, and updated tracking hardware, the new model strengthens the A9 lineup and offers another option for users looking for a lightweight, high-performance wireless mouse.
