ATK Launches Dragonfly Y9 Series Lightweight Dual-Mode Gaming Mice
ATK has officially introduced its new Dragonfly Y9 series, a dual-mode gaming mouse lineup featuring the Pro Max and Ultimate models. The series focuses on delivering a lightweight design, modern performance features, and improved ergonomics for competitive players and daily users. Both models come in at around 55±2 grams, placing them in the ultra-lightweight category without compromising structure or battery capacity.
The Dragonfly Y9 series uses an ergonomic “golden tilt” layout shaped for right-handed users. ATK designed the shell to accommodate medium to large hands while supporting three popular grip types: palm, claw, and fingertip. This approach helps maintain comfort during extended use, which is important for gaming sessions and productivity tasks. The company states that this design aims to offer better wrist alignment and hand support across different usage conditions.
The Y9 lineup supports both wired and wireless 8kHz polling rates, enabling the mouse to send rapid signal updates during intense motion. This helps maintain consistent tracking, especially in games that demand quick reactions. Wireless models in this weight class rarely offer such a high polling rate, giving the Y9 series an edge for players who prioritize fast and precise input performance.

Both mice include an 800mAh high-density battery. This larger capacity is used to support the power demands of wireless 8kHz operation while still offering long operational time. ATK emphasizes that the design balances battery life with weight to maintain overall comfort.
The Dragonfly Y9 Ultimate sits at the top of the series with several upgrades. It uses the Nordic 54L15 main control chip, which is paired with an enhanced optical sensor, refined microswitches, and an upgraded receiver. These improvements help reduce signal interference, maintain tracking accuracy, and deliver lower click latency. ATK reports that the Ultimate model can reach over 800 hours of battery life under typical use and achieve a button latency rating of 0.181ms.
ATK has not yet released pricing or global availability, but the Dragonfly Y9 Pro Max and Ultimate are expected to arrive in various markets soon. The series positions itself as an option for users looking for an ergonomic, lightweight mouse with modern wireless performance.
