AULA HERO 68 MINI Keyboard Launches With Low-Profile Magnetic Switch Design
AULA is preparing to release its new HERO 68 MINI keyboard. The compact keyboard introduces low-profile magnetic switch technology and combines it with a premium metal chassis and high-frequency input performance. With this launch, AULA is targeting users who prefer smaller layouts while maintaining fast and precise key response.
The HERO 68 MINI uses a CNC-machined aluminum body along with aluminum side panels. This construction is designed to improve rigidity and reduce unwanted flex during use. At the back of the keyboard, AULA has integrated an RGB light box that adds rear-facing lighting, while the sides feature a themed ribbon element that gives the keyboard a more distinct visual identity compared to standard minimalist designs.

Internally, the keyboard features a carbon fiber positioning plate. Carbon fiber is often used for its balance of stiffness and reduced weight, and in this case, it also contributes to consistent key alignment. To further refine typing acoustics and vibration control, AULA has added a three-layer internal filling structure. This includes sandwich cotton, sound-absorbing base cotton, and a PET insulation pad. Together, these layers are intended to reduce hollow sounds and manage internal resonance.
AULA is offering the HERO 68 MINI with two switch options. The first is the Pink King MINI, a low-profile linear magnetic switch aimed at smooth and uninterrupted keystrokes. The second option is the Brown King MINI, which provides tactile feedback and is described by AULA as the first advanced low-profile magnetic tactile switch. Both switch types feature a total travel distance of 3.1±0.1mm, keeping the keyboard slim while maintaining controlled actuation.

In terms of performance, the HERO 68 MINI supports an 8kHz polling rate in both wired and wireless modes. This allows the keyboard to report input data at a much higher frequency than standard gaming keyboards. The keyboard also supports a 48kHz full-key scan rate and a 128kHz single-key scan rate, which helps ensure accurate input detection across all keys. AULA has also included Rapid Trigger functionality with an accuracy of 0.01mm, allowing actuation and reset points to be finely adjusted. The keyboard supports zero dead zone adjustment, enabling keys to respond immediately once movement is detected.

The HERO 68 MINI’s compact layout is designed for users who want more desk space without sacrificing performance. Combined with magnetic switch control and high scan rates, the keyboard is clearly aimed at competitive gaming and fast-response scenarios, while still offering features that appeal to general users who value build quality and consistency.

AULA has confirmed that the HERO 68 MINI will officially go on sale tonight. Pricing, regional availability, and software details are expected to be announced alongside the launch, providing a clearer picture of where the keyboard will sit within AULA’s current lineup and the broader compact keyboard market.
