Dareu Launches AE7 Dual-Mode Gaming Mouse With Qi Wireless Charging and 8K Polling

Dareu has announced the launch of its new flagship gaming mouse, the AE7, adding a high-end option to its growing lineup of gaming peripherals. The AE7 is positioned as a dual-mode mouse aimed at competitive players and enthusiasts, combining wireless flexibility with performance-focused hardware. One of the key highlights of the new model is support for Qi wireless charging, a feature that reduces reliance on cables during everyday use.

The Dareu AE7 is built around a medium-to-large right-handed ergonomic shape. It measures 125.6 x 67.6 x 44.3mm, making it suitable for users who prefer a fuller grip style, particularly palm and claw grips. The outer shell features an excimer laser skin-feel coating, which is designed to improve surface durability while offering a consistent grip during long gaming sessions. In terms of appearance, Dareu is offering the AE7 in multiple color options, including white and blue, as well as a more vibrant magenta variant.

Weight has been a major focus in modern gaming mouse design, and the AE7 follows this trend. The internal structure includes a 3g keel weight, bringing the total weight of the mouse to approximately 70 grams. This places it firmly in the lightweight category, which is often preferred by players who rely on quick movements and reduced hand fatigue during extended gameplay.

Internally, the AE7 uses the Nordic N54H20 main controller, a component commonly found in high-performance wireless gaming mice. The mouse is equipped with Omron mechanical microswitches rated for a lifespan of up to 100 million clicks, targeting long-term reliability. For performance, the AE7 supports dual 8K polling rates, allowing for a maximum report rate of 8,000Hz in supported modes. Sensitivity can be adjusted up to 42,000 DPI, catering to a wide range of playstyles, from low-sensitivity competitive shooters to high-DPI desktop use.

Power is supplied by a built-in 500mAh battery. According to Dareu, the AE7 can deliver up to 222 hours of battery life, depending on usage patterns and performance settings. Charging is handled through Qi wireless technology, and the mouse is compatible with Dareu’s “Airship Wireless Flash Charge” receiver. Users can recharge the AE7 by placing it directly on the receiver, making it easier to keep the mouse powered without connecting a cable.

With the AE7, Dareu is continuing its push into the premium gaming mouse segment, focusing on features such as high polling rates, lightweight construction, and wireless charging support. While the company has not yet shared pricing or regional availability details, the specifications suggest that the AE7 is intended to compete with other flagship wireless gaming mice currently on the market. As wireless performance continues to close the gap with wired solutions, products like the AE7 highlight how manufacturers are prioritizing both convenience and competitive-level responsiveness.
