Dareu has officially unveiled its latest product in the mechanical keyboard segment, the COOL68 magnetic keyboard. Designed with a compact layout and advanced switch technology, the COOL68 aims to provide fast response times, structural stability, and customization options for both gaming and everyday use.
Design and Build
The COOL68 adopts a 68% layout with a total of 68 keys, striking a balance between compactness and functionality. The keyboard measures 329 x 111 x 44 mm and weighs approximately 740 grams, making it lightweight while maintaining solid build quality.
Dareu offers the COOL68 in three distinct color schemes: Fire Orange, Cloud Sea Blue, and Ice Rock Black. The keyboard also features dual “light wing light box” lighting strips on both sides, providing RGB effects for users who want additional visual customization.
Switch Options and Structure
The standout feature of the COOL68 is its use of Dareu’s proprietary magnetic switches. Buyers can choose between the Shadow Blade Magnetic Switch and the Ice Blade Magnetic Switch. These switches are engineered with 0 dead zone and 0 disconnection technology, ensuring consistent input recognition across the board.
The keyboard employs a T-Gasket structural design, improving overall typing feel by reducing vibrations and enhancing stability. Additionally, the COOL68 supports full-key hot-swappable magnetic switches, allowing users to mix and match switch types without limitations.
