SIKAKEYB SK8 keyboard kit has an all-aluminum frame. The frame here has been made using a high-precision CNC machining process. The kit has a rich and refined finish. SK8 keyboard kit also features a CNC-machined aluminum alloy volume knob. This knob is welded onto the top cover. The SK8 adopts a gasket-mounted structure design with a PC material positioning board. This will allow you to have a smoother typing experience with softer sound characteristics in your final keyboard build.
SIKAKEYB SK8 Keyboard Kit is compatible with both PCB Stabilizers and Plate Mounted Steel Stabilizers. This allows complete freedom for the users to choose their preferred type and create their own unique experience with their keyboards. Not only this, but each and every single component on the SK8 can be customized or replaced easily(except the volume knob as its welded on to the top-cover). SK8 supports easy multi-device connectivity with three connection modes. It supports Wireless 2.4Ghz, Wireless Bluetooth, and Wired USB Type-C connections. Wireless Bluetooth here supports connection with three devices and quick switching between them. The keyboard supports hot-swappable sockets, that are compatible with both 3-pin and 5-pin switches. SK8 features an interchangeable spacebar design. Users can either choose a long 6.25u spacebar like in every other keyboard, or they can customize the look with three smaller keys in its place. This increases the 98-key arrangement to 98+2. These two keys can be customized with different functions. SK8 also features a built-in 0.96” display screen. It shows different functions such as active connection, keyboard configuration, battery indicator, etc.
