Valkyrie Releases MAG 75 MAX Tri-Mode Magnetic Switch Keyboard with Long Battery Life and Custom Features
Valkyrie has launched the MAG 75 MAX Tri-mode Magnetic Switch keyboard, a new mechanical keyboard with a 75% layout and a focus on performance and durability. The keyboard supports wired, 2.4GHz wireless, and Bluetooth connections, offering flexibility for different usage scenarios. In wireless mode, it delivers an 8000Hz reporting rate and a 32,000Hz scanning rate, which helps reduce input delay during fast typing or gaming.
The MAG 75 MAX comes with a 10,000mAh built-in battery, which allows for up to 400 hours of usage on a single charge, depending on how it is used. The keyboard is available in three themed versions—Loki, Merlin, and Mist—each with a unique design and color scheme.
The keyboard is built with a gasket-mounted structure and includes five layers of sound-dampening material. This setup is designed to improve the typing feel and reduce unwanted noise. It also supports full-key hot-swapping, so users can change switches without soldering. Mixed switch types are supported, giving users more control over the typing experience.
Valkyrie has used a low-profile lighting setup that places the RGB lighting under the key switches. This design creates a more subtle lighting effect, which can be controlled through Valkyrie’s driver software or web-based interface. Users can customize lighting, remap keys, and adjust settings through either platform.
The keyboard features Valkyrie’s Chixiao magnetic switches by default. These switches have a total travel distance of 3.5 ± 0.1 mm, an initial actuation force of 30 ± 5 gf, and a bottom-out force of 55 ± 10 gf. Valkyrie states that these switches have been tuned to reduce wobble and improve stability. Each switch is rated for up to 100 million key presses.
Other features include a smart input algorithm designed to reduce signal errors and prevent missed key presses. The system is built to detect inputs accurately even during fast typing, with no dead zones or dropouts.
The MAG 75 MAX is equipped with five-sided dye-sublimated PBT keycaps. These keycaps are known for their durability and resistance to wear, which helps maintain a clean appearance over time.
With its long battery life, hot-swappable switches, and solid build, the Valkyrie MAG 75 MAX offers a range of features for users looking for a compact and customizable mechanical keyboard. More details on pricing and release schedule are expected through Valkyrie’s official channels.
