Lofree Launches Flow2 Mechanical Keyboard With New Design and Features
Lofree has introduced the Flow2, the latest addition to its Flow series of mechanical keyboards. The new model brings a refined design and several hardware upgrades while continuing to use the aluminum unibody shell that defined its predecessor.
The Flow2 features a slightly altered shape with a candy-bar style body, similar to the design language seen in modern smartphones. A key change is the extended right side, which now includes a Touch Bar slider. This new control allows users to adjust keyboard lighting brightness or system volume directly from the side of the device. At the rear, Lofree has added a redesigned footrest module that provides two levels of tilt adjustment for improved comfort during typing sessions.

Connectivity options have also been expanded. The Flow2 supports tri-mode wireless operation with Bluetooth, wired USB-C, and 2.4GHz wireless through a bundled dongle. It comes equipped with a 3000mAh lithium battery, which is now standard across all configurations.
Inside the keyboard, Lofree uses a gasket-mounted design with multiple layers of sound-dampening material. This setup is intended to deliver a softer typing experience and minimize noise. The Flow2 is fitted with custom low-profile switches developed in collaboration with Kailh. Users can select from three switch types based on their typing preferences. The PCB is also hot-swappable, allowing switches to be replaced without soldering.

The keyboard is available in three layout options: a compact 68-key version priced at $89, a mid-sized 84-key version for $99, and a full-size 100-key model at $109. These variants give users flexibility in choosing a size that fits their workflow and desk space.
Lofree’s Flow2 arrives as a rapid successor to the original model, combining an updated design with practical new features. Release dates and regional availability are expected to be announced soon on the company’s official website.
