RoyalKludge has designed the RKS98 keyboard with a top-mounted structure design. The keyboard adopts five-layered internal padding including IXPE under-shaft padding, PORON Sandwich cotton padding, and silicone bottom padding, these ensure we get comforting typing feedback on every single key press. They give the keyboard much anticipated soft-elastic feedback which is satisfying to type on. RK has also finely tuned the satellite stabilizers for a wobble-free experience with larger keys.
RoyalKludge RKS98 features a multi-function knob that can be used for a variety of functions. Users can adjust the volume, brightness, lightning mode, and many other settings through this knob. There is also a 1.47” colorful TFT display screen accompanying the knob. This screen shows various settings by default such as date/time, active connection mode, battery level, etc. When you adjust different settings using the knob, the display screen shows the corresponding setting function only. The green color variant of the RKS98 adopts side-engraved keycaps, while the other color options use standard PBT keycaps.
